The Taste of the Acai Berry: What’s it really like

Few people ever get the chance to taste a fresh acai berry. That’s because the acai berry trees only grow in South America, specifically in the Amazon rain forest. Heading down there to try these berries isn’t really possible for most people. However, fresh acai berries can be expensive, if you can find them at all. Likewise, frozen acai berries are sometimes in short supply, plus they’re somewhat expensive, too. Frozen berries also don’t have the same taste as fresh berries since they’ve been frozen.

Acai berry juice can be a great way of getting a taste of the acai berry. However, you’ll want to be certain that you’ve purchased juice that only contains acai berry. There are many juices out there that mix acai berry juice with the juice of other fruits to create a unique blend of tastes. These juices also contain many different beneficial nutrients. However, if you want the taste of acai berry, you don’t want these juices. If you’d like to taste acai berry with pomegranate or blueberry, though, you’ll find them very tasteful. These juices also have more taste than acai berry extract that comes in powdered form. These powders don’t add any taste to water at all.
